The method involves machining a connected valve seat (2) and a cylindrical side plate (3) in same direction respectively by distinct machining plates (53, 54). The side plate is formed in a cylinder head concentric with the valve seat. The plates are assembled on a same machining tool holder. One of the distinct machining plates is located far away from the valve seat when the other distinct machining plate machines the valve seat. A distinct orientation is presented with respect to cut direction by a set of plates (51, 52).
