<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a laser drive signal in which undershoot is reduced by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse signal generator 41 of a laser drive section 31 synthesizes a signal so that the rising of an additional rectangular wave SAD whose voltage is lower than that of a rectangular wave SBL may be in agreement with the falling of the rectangular wave SBL, and supplies the signal to an amplifier 42 as a pulse signal SL. According to it, an amplifier 42 amplifies and outputs the pulse signal SL to a laser diode 32 as a laser drive signal SD. Thereby, the laser drive section 31 can supply to the laser diode 32 the laser drive signal SD which is reduced in undershoot which may be generate when amplified by the amplifier 42 by gradually making low the voltage at the falling of the laser drive signal SD. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
