<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel which, while being equipped with a lens shutter and a diaphragm mechanism, is relatively simple in structure, and can be reduced in length of the zoom lens barrel when being accommodated, in a zoom lens barrel which moves a plurality of movable lens groups contributing to zooming between an accommodated position at the rear and a zoom photographing position in front in an optical axis direction. <P>SOLUTION: Using one of the movable lens groups as an aperture-control lens group, the diaphragm mechanism and the lens shutter are positioned at one and the other in front and rear of the aperture-control lens group while relative movement can be achieved in the optical axis direction with respect to the aperture-control lens group. The diaphragm mechanism and the lens shutter are moved to close positions being close to the aperture-control lens group at the accommodated position. Both the diaphragm mechanism and the lens shutter are opened at the close position (accommodated position), and the aperture-control lens group is allowed to partly enter the opened apertures of the diaphragm mechanism and the lens shutter at the close position (accommodated position). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
