<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of low temperature reforming of wood vinegar capable of reforming wood vinegar into a synthetic gas mainly composed of hydrogen and carbon monoxide by passing through a catalyst at a low temperature at a high conversion to hydrogen and carbon monoxide, excellent in energy conservation, showing high activity for a long time and excellent in the productivity of the synthetic gas. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, wood vinegar is catalytically reformed into the synthetic gas by passing through a reforming catalyst which contains 0.1-15 mass% of Ni on either one of metal oxides selected from the group consisting of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, ZrO<SB>2</SB>and TiO<SB>2</SB>, at a reforming temperature of 200-400°C, preferably at 250-380°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
