PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience in a technology of performing route guidance to a user. SOLUTION: This route information display system determines a route from an origin to a destination, creates route information including at least a plurality of pieces of element point attribute information for specifying a plurality of element points on the route, extracts element point attribute information of the element point establishing a predetermined condition from the element point attribute information based on the specific position on the surface of the ground, and displays, on a display section, each extracted element point attribute information in the agreement order matching the order on the route about each element point specified by each element point attribute information. The route information display system specifies a plurality of predetermined regions on the surface of the ground, stores a plurality of pieces of region feature information showing the feature for each predetermined region, selects one or more predetermined regions from the plurality of predetermined regions based on a specific position, and displays, on the display section, a feature information diagram as a diagram where the region feature information about the selected predetermined region is described.
