PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic scale device for over-the-counter sale including a display means displaying information about a commodity purchased by a customer, and effectively displaying sales promotion information on the display means. SOLUTION: The electronic scale device for over-the-counter sale includes a display means A4 for customer, and settles payment for the registered commodity after registering the commodity purchased by the customer. The device includes a sales promotion information storage means storing the sales promotion information of the commodity related to the commodity purchased by the customer, displays the registered commodity information on the display means A4 for the customer during the registration of the commodity purchased by the customer in the registration processing, and displays, when the payment is settled, the sales promotion information stored in the sales promotion information storage means instead of the commodity information of the purchased commodity on the display means A4 for the customer.
