摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding constant velocity universal joint which holds an induction thrust force equal to that of a prior art even if a space volume of the sliding constant velocity universal joint is decreased in order to reduce a lubricant. SOLUTION: The sliding constant velocity universal joint includes an outer member 2, a track groove 5, a torque transmission member 4, and a drive shaft 6 which transmits a rotating torque to the torque transmission member 4 via an inner member 3. The lubricant is sealed into a space in the universal joint which is decreased in the space volume by filling an elastic body 8 into the space in the universal joint, and the sealing amount of the lubricant is equal to or more than the amount at a sealing rate of 0.4 (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) defined by the following expression: a sealing rate (g/cm<SP>3</SP>)=a lubricant sealing rate (g/cm<SP>3</SP>)×a space volume (cm<SP>3</SP>) in a regular universal joint/a lubricant existence possibility space volume (cm<SP>3</SP>).
