PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for side walls capable of enhancing heat resistance, and suppressing the hardening/deterioration of rubber, thereby extending the dervice life of the rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for side walls includes a rubber component containing isoprene-based rubber and a compound represented by formula (I) and/or (II).
