Formulation of a mixture of free-B-ring flavonoids and flavans as a therapeutic agent

Disclosed is a composition of matter comprising of a mixture of at least one Free-B-Ring flavonoid, at least one flavan and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) having COX-1 inhibition activity, such as aspirin. Also disclosed is the use of the above composition in the manufacture of a medicament for preventing or treating a disease or condition related to platelet aggregation or platelet-induced thrombosis.
