Disclosed is a spark - generating tube, characterized by a pyrotechnic mixture adhered to an inner wall of a plastic tubing including the following solid powdered substances: (a) between 32% to 60% of a powdered fuel or reduction substance selected from the group consisting of aluminium, magnesium, silicon, boron and zirconium; (b) 15% to 35% of a substance selected from the group consisting of ferrosoferric oxide - Fe3O4, ferric oxide - Fe2O3, ferrous oxide - FeO, cobalt oxide - CoO, cupric oxide - CuO or cuprous oxide - Cu2O; (c) 20% to 40% of a substance lowering the activation energy of the pyrotechnic reaction and generating gaseous products having a volume large enough to propagate through kinks, knots, or tube restrictions selected from the group consisting of potassium perchlorate - KCI04, potassium chlorate or potassium nitrate, ammonium perchlorate, sodium perchlorate, sulphur or antimony trisulfide; (d) 0.5% to 3.0% of a substance promoting adherence and reducing the shock and friction sensibility of the pyrotechnic mixture selected from the group consisting of talc or graphite.
