PURPOSE: Power conservation for mobile device displays is provided to reduce one or more animation factors with respect to a display screen by reducing one or more light illuminating factors with respect to the display screen. CONSTITUTION: A display image with respect to the display screen(105) of a mobile device(100) is generated. The power of mobile device is transited to a diminished power state(125). One or more light illuminating factors with respect to the display screen are reduced. One or more animation factors with respect to the display screen are reduced. The level of light illumination with respect to the display screen is reduced.
