摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which has an arrangement structure in which a positive electrode active material coated part 3 and a negative electrode active material coated part 7 are always opposed to each other in the vicinity of a winding core 10, thereby eliminating imbalance in electric structure and effectively suppressing deterioration of capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The battery is provided with a power generation element in which a positive electrode 1 and a negative electrode 5 in which electrode active materials 3, 7 are respectively coated on the surface of electrode current collectors 2, 6 are wound around a winding core 10 with separators 15, 15 in-between. The electrode active material 13 having a different polarity from any of the positive electrode 1 or the negative electrode 5 located in the innermost circumference is coated on the outer surface of the winding core 10, and the separator 15 is interposed between any of the positive electrode 1 or the negative electrode 5 located in the innermost circumference and the outer surface of the winding core 10.
