<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device achieving stable image transfer from the surface of an image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: the image carrier on which an image is formed on the surface and which carries the image; an image forming part which carries toner and forms a toner image on the surface of the image carrier using the toner; a transfer part which transfers the toner image formed on the surface of the image carrier onto a transfer object body; a cleaning member which contacts the surface of the image carrier and removes deposits from the surface; a measurement part which measures distortion of the cleaning member; and a toner replacement part which replaces at least part of the toner held by the image forming part with new toner based on the measurement result by the measurement part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
