PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection device capable of reducing a processing load, and improving inspection speed and inspection accuracy, by eliminating the need for processing of specifying an absence domain or a seal domain in an X-ray transmission image. SOLUTION: The X-ray inspection device 1, which is an X-ray inspection device for inspecting an article 50 whose content is sealed in a package, includes an X-ray irradiation part 7 for irradiating the article 50 with an X-ray, an X-ray detection unit 8 for detecting an X-ray transmitted through the article 50, a transmission image generation unit 30 for generating an X-ray transmission image 60 based on detection results from the X-ray detection unit 8, and a biting decision unit 31 for determining biting of the content into a seal of the package based on the X-ray transmission image 60. The biting decision unit 31 calculates a length from a fringe of the package to a fringe of the content based on the X-ray transmission image 60, and determines biting of the content based on the calculated length.
