PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of preventing the occurrence of backlash between a lens holding frame and a guide bar and preventing optical performance from being reduced. SOLUTION: The lens barrel (20) includes a holding member (30) for holding an optical system, a first guide shaft (51) being extended in the direction of optical axis of the optical system and being movably engaged with the holding member, and a second guide shaft (52) being different from the first guide shaft engaged with the holding member. The holding member has a first engaging part (31) engaging with the first guide shaft and a second engaging part (32) engaging with the second guide shaft. A clearance between the first engaging part and the first guide shaft can be adjusted by mutual engagement of the second engaging part and the second guide shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
