PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of a hydraulic control mechanism including a hydraulic cylinder while reducing the size and weight of a hydraulic control cylinder device for a single rope-type grab bucket. SOLUTION: An oil tank provided on a side surface of a lower end of a hydraulic control cylinder and a manifold block included in a hydraulic circuit of a hydraulic control mechanism are fixed to a side surface of a lower end of a cylinder body. The oil tank is made to communicate with a communication path at a lower side of the cylinder that is opened to a lower end closed block of the cylinder body, and an entrance of a mainstream path of the manifold block is made to communicate with a communication path at an upper side of the cylinder of an upper end closed block. Furthermore, an exit of the mainstream path of the manifold block is made to communicate with the communication path at the upper side of the cylinder of the upped end closed block.
