PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visor for a cap for preventing rainwater from dripping forward from the tip. SOLUTION: The visor for the cap includes a visor body protruding outwardly from a lower edge of the cap body with a downward slope. In the visor for the cap, a belt-like pocket-forming material is overlapped with a belt-like region along the tip edge thereof on a top surface of the visor body while a lower edge of the pocket-forming material is formed as a fixed edge sewn to the vicinity of the tip edge of the visor body, and also an upper edge of the pocket-forming material is formed as an open edge without being sewn to the visor body. Thereby, a pocket is formed in the vicinity of the tip edge of the visor body. As a result, waterdrops passing along the top surface of the visor body and flowing to the tip side can be collected in the interior of the pocket. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
