<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously provide area information related to a map, when acquiring the map information by an access from an information terminal device to an information provision server device. <P>SOLUTION: An information provision server device 2 is communicably connected to an information terminal device 4 via a network 1. According to a map information request from the information terminal device 4, the information provision server device 2 provides the map information to a user, and also provides information of the area concerned (area information) related to the provided map information. When providing the area information, from existence position information of the information terminal device 4 and position information represented by the requested map, the information provision server device 2 side calculates a distance between both positions, and based on the calculated distance, selects and provides the area information corresponding to the distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
