<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast signal receiving apparatus which obviates the need of manual channel selection for obtaining channel information even for a channel of which the channel information cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In automatic channel selection, for channels (CH26, CH9, CH33, CH 40 and CH 66) of which the broadcast signals have not been received, data of channel information obtained in previous automatic channel selection and stored in a memory are protected without being updated, and used continuously for subsequent channel selection by a tuner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
