<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a rise of the facing temperature, while continuously controlling slip of a lock-up clutch. <P>SOLUTION: In this control device for a lock-up clutch, when slip control is performed by using a normal slip ratio map A having a characteristic line of a target slip ratio defined in accordance with an engine load in the normal vehicle travelling condition, in the case where an estimation value of the facing temperature continues to exceed a threshold temperature for a predetermined time or more, a first modified slip ratio map B searching a smaller slip ratio is selected in the case where a determination that the facing calorific value is lowered by lowering the slip ratio is made based on the distribution data of the facing calorific value. On the other hand, a second modified slip ratio map C searching a larger slip ratio is selected in the case where a determination that the facing temperature is lowered by increasing the slip ratio is made, and a change to the selected target slip ratio map is thereby performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
