摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide with low optical loss, which has excellent rigidity and bending durability of a specific part, and to provide a photoelectric composite wiring board, by providing the structure of the optical waveguide that facilitates controlling the thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The optical waveguide includes a first cladding layer 2, a core pattern 4 and a second cladding layer 7. The thickness of the second cladding layer at least at one end of the optical waveguide is larger than the thickness of the second cladding layer at the middle part of the optical waveguide. In the optical waveguide, the core pattern of at least one end of the optical waveguide includes dummy cores 9.
