PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier roller, a carrying device and a printer, capable of reducing weight and cost, and capable of preventing the pollution of a medium. SOLUTION: The carrying device includes the carrier roller 15 formed in a cylindrical shape by butting a pair of end surfaces 61a and 61b by press working and having a medium support area 50 for supporting the medium in a part in the longitudinal direction, and a bearing for journaling an area except for the medium support area 50 among the carrier roller 15.
