PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of a driving motor for opening an elevator landing door against an energizing force by a spiral spring of a drum, while improving the sealability of the elevator landing door and a frame member of an opening part in closing. SOLUTION: The drum 12 is formed in a substantially truncated cone shape. A groove 12b containing a wound wire rope 4 is formed on a peripheral surface 12a of the drum 12. This groove 12b is formed in rightward winding direction when viewed from the front in a spiral wire shape having one inflection point at which the increase-decrease ratio of a turning radius (a distance from the central point of the drum 12) to the drum 12 becomes smaller on the tail end side than the starting end side, and is opened in the peripheral direction of the drum 12. An end installed at one end of the wire rope 4 is hooked on the outer end 12c of the groove 12b, and the groove 12b can contain the wound wire rope 4 along the inner end 12b from the outer end 12c.
