PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform handover to a different communication system with sufficient accuracy. SOLUTION: This mobile terminal 130 performs the handover from a first base station 110 which performs communication by a first communication system to a second base station 120 which performs communication by a second communication system. From the second base station 120, a first receiving section 132b receives a signal for synchronization of the first communication system synchronized with a radio frame of the second communication system to be transmitted from the second base station 120. A frame head detection section 134a detects the head position of a radio frame to be transmitted from the second base station 120 on the basis of the signal for synchronization received by the first receiving section 132b. A second receiving section 133b receives a symbol for measurement included in the radio frame on the basis of the head position detected by the frame head detection section 134a.
