PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noises when generated by the ballast of a fluorescent lamp, without adding components. SOLUTION: Straight tube type fluorescent lamp equipment with an inverted Fuji-mountain type reflecting plate has a through-hole set in a position near both the discharge lamp ballast by which noises are generated in the inverted Fuji-mountain type reflecting plate and the straight tube type fluorescent lamp to inexpensively and effectively reduce the noises to leak to the outside even when the noise is generated by the discharge lamp ballast involved in aging deterioration, without adding components.
