PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymerizable ionic liquid having a double bond which can be used for: a lithium ion conductive separator applied in a lithium ion secondary battery; a proton conductor of a fuel cell; and a filler for chromatography, so as to utilize as a functional polymer material to the polymer backbone of which the ionic liquid part is introduced, and to provide a polymer prepared by using the ionic liquid. SOLUTION: The ionic liquid includes a cation component having following (A)-(C) and an anion component derived from an amino acid, wherein (A) is an arene group, (B) is a double bond-containing group bonded to the arene group, and (C) is a group selected from the group consisting of imidazolium or its derivative, a quaternary ammonium salt and a quaternary phosphonium salt bonded to the arene group.
