PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cradle having a simple circuit configuration which detects an increase in temperature of an object put on a case and safely charges a device having a built-in battery. SOLUTION: The charging cradle charges the battery built in a device 50 having a built-in battery by using a power induced in a power reception coil 51. The charging cradle includes a power transmission coil 11 for inducing an electromotive force to the power reception coil 51, a case having an upper surface plate for placing the device 50 having a built-in battery, a moving mechanism 13 for moving the power transmission coil 11, and a position detecting controller 14 for detecting the position of the device 50, controlling the moving mechanism 13 and making the power transmission coil 11 close to the power reception coil 51. In the charging cradle, the position detection controller 14 has a plurality of position detection coils 30 so as to distribute in a set region 21A of the upper surface plate, the position detection coil 30 is connected to a temperature sensor 40 consisting of a PTC 41 at a predetermined position, and detects an electric resistance of the PTC 41 to detect the temperature of the object to be placed on the upper surface plate.
