DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided to block an image opposite to an opened shutter by regulating a light emitting state without the change of a data signal. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent panel(10) scans each frame of a left-eye image and a right-eye image. The organic electroluminescent panel includes a light emitting layer based on an organic material. A signal transmitting part(20) outputs a controlling signal to external shutter glasses(200). A controlling part(30) controls the signal transmitting part. The opening states of a left-eye shutter and a right-eye shutter are opposite by the controlling part. The controlling part controls the light emission of the organic electroluminescent panel.
