<p>PURPOSE: A method for providing a FOTA(Firmware Over The Air) service, which improved download speed, and a system thereof are provided to improve FOTA service success rate and update package download speed. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(10) analyzes a received urgent FOTA message. The mobile terminal grasps that it is an urgent FOTA upgrade service event. The mobile terminal requests a packet call setting corresponding to the urgent FOTA upgrade service. A SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node)(300) grasps that it is a urgent FOTA upgrade service request through an APN(Access Point Name). The SGSN assigns resource to accept the data QoS(Quality of Service) of the mobile terminal.</p> |
