<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an information processing system and method for achieving efficient processing, in a processing using an effective key block (EKB) using a categorized tree structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a configuration for generating and providing to a device an EKB comprised of encrypted processing data of an upper key due to a lower key on a selection path of a key tree having a plurality of sub trees categorized and managed by a category entity, when requesting EKB generation, a configuration for generating a route key by itself and a configuration for requesting the generation of the route key to a key issuing center can be selectively performed. Furthermore, when the EKB is generated at the EKB issuing center, generation of a sub EKB is requested to the category entity, thereby the efficiency of EKB generation and management is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
