PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology related to an archive system, allowing simultaneous execution of retrieval processing by a plurality of retrieval expressions about archived data, and allowing easy management of an interruption or resumption of the retrieving processing while confirming an execution situation of retrieval thereof as the need arises. SOLUTION: In the retrieval of the archived data, the plurality of retrieval expressions can be received, the retrieval expressions are made to have group attributes, the retrieval processing in group units is performed, the interruption and the resumption of the retrieval can be managed in the group units as the need arises, and the execution situation of the retrieval processing can be monitored in the group units.
