PURPOSE: A pedal device for cars is provided to make one part of the support shaft to securely drop out from a pedal bracket even is a pedal stroke sensor is arranged by separated from a pedal. CONSTITUTION: A pedal device for cars includes a dash panel(2), a pedal bracket(11) and shaft separating unit. The dash panel is divides inner side of the car room of a car with the outer side of a car. The dash panel is comprised to transform into rear side of a car. The pedal bracket is installed in a panel surface of the dash panel facing inside the car room. The pedal bracket has a cross wall(12) and vertical wall(13) extended along the panel surface. The shaft secession unit is comprised to allow the drop out of one part of the supporting shaft from a vertical wall among front collision.
