<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of performing accurate correction for trapezoidal distortion. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 100 includes an imaging portion 110, an information generation portion 130, and an image generation portion 150. The imaging portion 110 images a projection object to generate a captured image. The information generation portion 130 generates coordinate information on boundary lines of the projection object included in the captured image. In order to set up a correction target area, the image generation portion 150 performs complementing processing for complementing an insufficient section according to the shape of boundary lines other than the bottom of the projection object, using the coordinate information on the boundary lines. Based on the correction target area, the image generation portion 150 functions as a trapezoidal distortion correction portion to performs trapezoidal distortion correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
