<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for simply and quantitatively measuring a micropore of a porous body, especially of a gas diffusion layer or a catalyst layer of a solid polymer fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The micropore measuring method includes the steps of: acquiring an electron microscope image of a surface or a cross section of a porous sample; and separating a micropore area from the other area in the electron microscope image, and is characterized by further including the step of removing luminance unevenness from the electron microscope image, which is caused by a combination of an electron microscope and the sample, or by a composition distribution or a shape of the sample.
