<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation suppression device in a simple configuration, which can prevent the co-rotation of two tightening members. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation suppression device 70 suppress the rotation of an axle 15 or of a nut 152 when inserting the axle 15 into an insertion hole 111 in a left fork 11B and screwing the nut 152 onto the distal end of the axle 15. The rotation suppression device 70 includes: an outer-surface contact portion 723 which abuts on an outer circumferential surface of the left fork 11B; a distal-end contact portion 713 which abuts on the vicinity of the insertion hole 111 in the left fork 11B; a socket 731 which can be engaged with either of the axle 15 and the nut 152; and a sliding section 72 and a moving section 74, which advance and retreat the socket 731 along the center axis thereof with respect to the distal-end contact portion 713 while suppressing the rotation of the socket 731 about the center axis with respect to the distal-end contact portion 713. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
