PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable, inexpensive liquid leakage detector unfailingly detecting a liquid leakage at a plurality of points in an easy and efficient manner. SOLUTION: The liquid leakage detector keeps a liquid absorber and a light absorber pinched between upper and lower long pinching members, has a permeation hole in the bottom surface of the lower pinching member, is provided with a plurality of light emitting parts and light receiving parts via a transparent member between the upper pinching member and the liquid absorber, and detects the liquid leakage depending on a degree of reflection by the liquid absorber of irradiation light from each light emitting part.
