PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a hypertext file out of a composite file including text information and multimedia information. SOLUTION: In a step S30, a server device 1 receives an email having multimedia information such as image data attached to text information. In a step S31, the server device extracts the text information and the multimedia information from the email. In a step S32, the server device uses the extracted text information as text and adds predetermined tag information to the text to generate an HTML file that can be displayed in a predetermined layout.
