PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems, wherein device load and network traffic increase and it takes much troubles and time in transfer start/stop setting, for applying a syslog protocol to operation log acquisition of an incorporated device. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus is configured so as to automatically perform transfer start/stop with the syslog protocol, when there is an event subjected to advanced registration within firmware, and is also able to acquire a device operation log outside the framework of the syslog.
