PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation film which can be produced by a melt extrusion process and strike a balance between high phase difference developing property and high phase difference stability under high temperature and high humidity conditions. SOLUTION: The retardation film comprises a specific imidized acrylic resin and a retardation raising agent.
