PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker enabling easy selection of a target menu. SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes a casing, a heating chamber provided in the casing for storing an object to be heated, a storage part for storing the data of a plurality of automatic menu images corresponding to a plurality of menus, a dial 46 operated by a user to select a target automatic menu image, a color liquid crystal display 36 having a first display mode for displaying at least one automatic menu image and a second display mode for displaying a plurality of thumbnail images which are reduced automatic menu images, and a control unit for controlling the display of the color liquid crystal display 36. When the control device controls to display in the second display mode, the device displays five thumbnail images while skipping every nine images, on the color liquid crystal display 36 according to the operation to the dial 46.
