PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic structure and an instantaneous force generating device that achieve reduction in size and weight while ensuring flexibility. SOLUTION: The elastic structure 1 includes two or more elastic bodies 2, each connecting rigid body 3 (comprising one joining block) and each connecting rigid body 4 (comprising a pair of joining blocks), a first fixing rigid body 5, and a second fixing rigid body 6. The two or more elastic bodies 2 are arranged side by side in a first direction X so as to be torsionally deformable around an axis in parallel with a second direction Y orthogonal to the first direction X. The connecting rigid bodies 3, 4 respectively connect the elastic bodies 2. The first fixing rigid body 5 is joined to the elastic body 2A at a position not overlapping with a joint of each joining block of the connecting rigid body 4, joined to the elastic body 2A located at one end in the first direction X, in a direction orthogonal to the second direction Y. The second fixing rigid body 6 is joined to the elastic body 2B at a position not overlapping with a joint of each joining block of the connecting rigid body 4, joined to the elastic body 2B located at the other end in the first direction X, in the direction orthogonal to the second direction Y.
