PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and certainly enhance the precision of a result obtained by analogue-digital conversion (AD conversion) in a technique for optically detecting the sample passed through a flow channel. SOLUTION: In this optical measuring instrument 1, feature such that the sample S is moved through the flow channel 2 is put to practical use and respective second means are provided on the downstream side of respective first means. Therefore, the electrical signal of the same sample obtained by a second light irradiation-electric signal exchange means is amplified in the optimum mu-factor on the basis of the data of the sample obtained by the respective first means. As a result, the precision of the result obtained by the analogue-digital conversion (AD conversion) is efficiently and certainly enhanced without wasting the sample. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
