PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system to let a user to check a fire sensor without fail. SOLUTION: An installation day (date) of the fire alarm 40 is stored in a memory part 7 of a master unit 1. When the present date and time, timed by a clock timing part 10, and an inspection day, set based on the installation day stored in the memory part 7, coincide, a master unit control part 3 controls an acoustic control part 4, sounds a notification message (for example, "Please check the fire alarm.") from a speaker 4b, or makes a liquid crystal display part 5 display guidance, and the like, for urging execution of the inspection for the fire alarm, and notifies the user that the inspection day has come. Therefore, since the inspection day is notified from the master unit 1 when the inspection day for the fire alarm 40 comes, the user is made to execute the inspection for the fire alarm 40 without fail.
