PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector structure in which a cord is fixed on the connector body with strong fixing force, to provide a method of assembling the connector structure and to improve handling characteristic of the connector. SOLUTION: The connector structure includes a tensile strength fiber of the cord, which is disposed between the outer circumferential part 29 of the connector body 11 and a ring 17 which is fitted on the outer circumferential part 29, and the tensile strength fiber is tightly fitted on the outer circumferential part 29 by caulking the ring 17 by plastic deformation. A recessed part 37 is formed on the outer circumferential part 29 of the connector body 11, so that a portion of the plastically deformed ring 17 enters the recessed part. It is preferable that a projected part is formed on the outer circumferential face of the ring 17, which allows the ring to bite into the recessed part 37 by swaging. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
