<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including a developing device employing a hybrid developing system, wherein a printing history on a developing roller causing an image memory is directly dissolved, and also, failures possibly arising when the image memory is dissolved, due to poor solid followability (besides, poor gradation reproducibility, poor thin-line reproducibility, poor graininess and image density unevenness) are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus including the developing device employing the hybrid developing system, the image memory and at least one of the solid followability, the gradation reproducibility, the thin-line reproducibility, the graininess and the image density unevenness are detected, respectively, and a toner conveying amount Q on the developing roller 21 is controlled to adjust the image memory, thereafter, a developing side circumferential velocity ratio Rd representing a ratio of the circumferential velocity of the developing roller to the circumferential velocity of a photoreceptor 1 is controlled to perform the image adjustment for at least one of the solid followability, the gradation reproducibility, the thin-line reproducibility, the graininess and the image density unevenness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
