PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device and an image forming device, which are easy to be controlled, maintains high productivity, and restrains the occurrence of wrinkles, while restraining the dispersion of pressurizing force applied to a sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet folding device includes a folding means for imparting folding to the sheet, and a folding increasing means for increasing the folding in the sheet of imparting the folding by the folding means. The folding increasing means has at least two or more of rotary body pairs provided with a sheet sandwiching means for increasing the folding by sandwiching and pressurizing the sheet of imparting the folding. The sheet sandwiching means is arranged in at least two or more rotary body pairs so that an area for sandwiching the sheet turns to a central part from both ends toward the downstream side from the upstream side in the sheet carrying direction in the folding increasing means.
