PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil member having a connection part which never causes disturbance and is hardly disconnected without making a process of connecting a conductive wire to a terminal pin difficult even when a socket part is included in constituent members, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This coil member includes a coil body having a bobbin for winding a conductive wire, and a socket part 7a surrounding insertion holes 7d, 7e for inserting respective one ends 5a1, 5b1 of two terminal pins 5a, 5b for connecting both ends of the conductive wire thereto. In the coil member, connection parts 5a6, 5b6 formed continuously from folded parts 5a3, 5b3 extending along an outer bottom surface of the socket part 7a from the one ends 5a1, 5b1 of the terminal pins 5a, 5b, formed continuously from parallel parts 5a7, 5b7 located in outside regions of the socket part 7a, and extending in directions similar to the directions of the one ends 5a1, 5b1, extending in directions vertical to and away from the one ends 5a1, 5b1 for connecting the conductive wire thereto are formed on the sides of the other ends 5a2, 5b2 of the terminal pins 5a, 5b opposite to the sides of the one ends 5a1, 5b1 entering the socket part 7a.
