PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Pachinko game machine which eliminates possible disadvantage suffered by players by guaranteeing the chance for letting game balls pass through gates. SOLUTION: The Pachinko game machine includes the second start pocket 21 having a mobile member 28 at its upper part and a gate 22 which lets the game balls pass. When the game balls pass through the gate 22, a winning lottery is conducted and when the winning is earned as the result of the lottery, the second start pocket 21 is kept open at a prescribed frequency and for a prescribed period of time. When the game balls win the second start pocket 21 opened, the jackpot lottery is conducted. The mobile member 28 can take two positions -- a forward position of making it ahead of the game board surface 1a and a backward position of getting it housed backward from the game board surface 1a. At the forward position, the mobile member receives the game balls and functions as a ball guide path surface to guide them to the gate 22; and at the backward position, it functions as an opening part to enable the game balls to win the variable winning pocket 21.
