<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a light receiving signal required for tracking control without affected by interlayer stray light. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical disk device, a reflected light beam is diffracted, a reflected light beam comprising of zeroth-order light excluding one part of a region is made to progress almost straightly, it is detected by a light receiving part D1 of a photodetector 49, a light receiving signal is generated, a part reflected light beam of the first-order light is diffracted in the vertical direction respectively, it is received in a light receiving region D2, and the light receiving signal is generated, a part reflected light beam out of first-order light is diffracted to the horizontal direction respectively, it is received in a light receiving region D3 respectively, and the light receiving signal is generated. Thereby, in the optical disk device, a tracking error signal in which influence of stray light patterns W5, W50 formed respectively by interlayer stray beam from a plurality of recording layers is excluded can be generated, then, tracking control can be accurately performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
