PROCESS TO MAKE STRUCTURED PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for making a composite material containing structured particles.

SOLUTION: The process for making the composite material containing structured particles includes the steps of: providing a first precursor in the form of dried precursor powder, a precursor liquid, precursor vapor and/or a precursor gas; preparing plasma having a high intensity zone; and passing the first precursor through the high intensity zone of the plasma. When the first precursor passes through the high intensity zone of the plasma, at a part of the first precursor is decomposed. An aerosol having a second precursor is prepared on the downstream side of the high intensity zone of the plasma and the decomposed first material is made to condense on the second precursor to form structured particles.
